The goal
TransNumerik needed a complete e-learning platform for Ceditech: secure hosting, a fully configured LMS, and a way for learners to buy courses online. I led the technical implementation.
Infrastructure
I set up and secured the server infrastructure hosting the LMS: a Linux server, web server, database, SSL, and automated backups.
Configuring the LMS
I installed and configured the platform's core building blocks:
- Course catalogue and categories
- User roles and enrolment methods
- Assessments, completion tracking and certificates
Online payments
I implemented a payment gateway integration for online course purchases. When a learner pays, they are enrolled automatically, and the payment record is stored in the platform database. I then configured database reports on learner progress, completion and payments.
Handover
I trained instructors and administrators on platform administration and course management, and provided post-launch support.
